1. One example of how Fair Use could be used is if a real historical news clip is incorporated into a film that is set to that particular time period. Footage of Buzz Aldrin and Neil Armstrong landing on the moon was nicely featured in Apollo 13. Quoting pop culture or a historical speech to make a point is another example of how Fair Use could be used in a film. Documentary filmmakers rely on Fair Use because much of what they must incorporate into their piece involves a critical analysis of footage that has already been copyrighted. They are constantly using quotes, video clips, or pictures that they choose to evaluate in their own, meaningful ways.
2.I thought this was a funny Pop Culture Mashup. It includes clips from a huge range of what’s been happening on TV lately, including Lindsay Lohan’s court hearing, morning news spoofs, and, of course, scenes from Jersey Shore.
