The reasoning behind my mash up was to create something unique. I had to start off with a classic song from the 80's that I'm sure everyone has heard and from there I left images portrayed by either celebrities doing wrong or in the case of Rihanna wrong being done to her. The inspiration came from a friend as we were walking one day and I asked why she was acting so crazy lately and simply put "Girls just wanna have fun." I had contemplated other ideas, but this hit me and then it all seemed to come together.
I started and ended the mash up with the tune and all the critiquing was done in between. It shows that what normal people consider fun isn't the case in the life of a celebrity. What may have began as fun in most cases spiraled downward and it transforms it that way. Besides Alexis Neiers everybody depicted is well known and anybody that follows the slightest of celebrity news can catch on to why this is a complete 180. In regards to fair use I think it would stand up because nothing created was made to ensure a profit. I didn't steal anything I feel, but honestly fair use is still a little confusing to me. The copyright vs fair use Walt Disney clip didn't clear up a whole lot. This mash up puts a new spin on lifestyles in general because it made me think back to things I thought at the time were fun that ended up being so stupid that I should've done time like some of the celebrities. It puts a different perspective on our culture because anymore everything is so heavily criticized and that is utterly ridiculous.

I want to be honest and say that it moves a little slow to keep someone's interest, but the idea is really really great. I really like how you showed how some girls get out of hand and just go way overboard with what they do.
