The purpose of my mash up is to poke fun at George Bush and Condeleeza Rice and their so called "love affair." Will Ferrell is one of my favorite people to listen to and I wanted to put it with my style of music. This is taken from a longer version of Ferrell's stand up when he portrays Bush the entire time. The song is an underground band called "This Condition" and the song is named Red Letter. I wanted to do something kind of funny. I justify mine as being fair use because it is just silly and supposed to be funny and obviously I am gaining no profit from this short video.
The initial song that is played in the skit is "I Keep Forgettin" by Michael McDonald. He is singing about how he keeps forgetting that they are not in love anymore and with the song I used is saying that he should love her, but he can't... obviously.
Something to make this better is the audio splices, i did not fully understand how to make the music work well together but I have figured it out for next time.
